Knight Const. & Supply, Inc. (KCS) has been involved with industrial plant maintenance projects for nearly 50 years. We work with clients in a range of industries, completing maintenance work at lumber mills, pulp and paper, plywood plants, aluminum reduction and rolling mills and waste to energy facilities.
KCS can support plant maintenance and outages with our in-house non-union electricians, millwrights, certified welders, plumbers and pipefitters, power equipment and crane operators, carpenters and laborers. Our superintendents and crews are used to working in round-the-clock outages and responding to our customer’s emergencies. Our superintendent’s tool crib and KCS’s heavy equipment and crane inventory are designed to set KCS apart from our competitors in preparedness to focus on efficiently completing your project from the start to finish and without interruption for lack of tools.
Much of this work has been under time-and-materials (T&M) contracts and completed during 24/7 plant outages, at times requiring more than 40 millwrights and welders. Our customers have expressed satisfaction with KCS’s cooperation, production rates and quality of construction when working under T&M contracts.
